I'm Giselle, mama to two little ones, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, breastfeeding educator, and the face behind Blissful Mami. I love iced matcha with sweet cream cold foam, Trader Joe's, and I have an office with an entire boob wall. Cool, right?

My journey through breastfeeding, pumping, and motherhood has been a rollercoaster. My first pregnancy was amazing, and I thought I was so prepared to take on the mom role... I was very wrong.

After giving birth to my son, breastfeeding didn't come easily. I was diagnosed with postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. It was a lot to process. I remember wondering, Why do I feel this way? Why don't we talk about the fourth trimester more? I reached out to my OB-GYN for guidance and was told this was normal, that I'd feel like myself again soon, and was prescribed some meds. But I still felt confused. I felt alone. Why wasn't anyone talking about this?

Blissful Mami was born during one of the darkest seasons of my life. As a first-time mom during the pandemic, I wanted to create products that made me feel empowered. Little reminders that I was doing a good job, even on the hardest days. I started by making a few items for local mamas before opening my Etsy shop. What began as a creative outlet quickly became something so much bigger. I've had the privilege of connecting with thousands of amazing mothers who reminded me I was never alone, and today I'm incredibly grateful that Blissful Mami has reached families all over the world.

Since then, my journey has come full circle in so many ways. I became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist because I wanted to help other families navigate breastfeeding and pumping with the support I wish I'd had. I also work one-on-one with parents through local breastfeeding consultations and as a pumping expert, helping families troubleshoot, meet their feeding goals, and feel more confident throughout their journey.

In May 2026, I welcomed my baby girl after having a successful VBAC, and I'm once again in the thick of postpartum and breastfeeding. Experiencing this season for a second time has reminded me that every postpartum journey is different. Even with the knowledge and experience I have now, motherhood continues to teach me something new every day. It's deepened my empathy, strengthened my passion for supporting families, and continues to inspire the education and products I create.
